In 2008 a dream was born. We always wanted a vacation home in the mountains and decided to start looking around. We began with the Adirondacks and finally, back and forth through the years, decided to try our luck in 2015 in the Catskills.

It took some serious searching, but we found our Catskills Mountainview Haus in Prattsville with an amazing view in mid-2017. After our bid was verbally accepted, it fell through to another buyer within days of our verbal acceptance.

The Catskills Mountainview Haus slipped through our fingers and we kept looking. Fast forward to March of 2018 and with Pam 9 months pregnant, Marc found the house miraculously relisted online one day. The next day Marc drove up and made an offer and we closed 9 days after our son was born. We were ecstatic and started a modest renovation and within a few months, it was listed as a vacation rental.

This was never our intent, but with Pam home on maternity leave, we figured we would try it out. Now, 3 years later, we are going strong with our Catskills Mountainview Haus, and also have added our New Paltz Pool Haus to our repertoire.

As we live in the New Paltz area, it made sense to expand our business to offer guests the amazing things that not only the Catskills are known for, but to also include our special piece of heaven which is the Hudson Valley.
